Chapel of the Hills Baptist Church was founded in 1967 along Highway 29 in Buchanan Dam, Tx, in the heart of the Texas Hill Country. We are a New Testament church with a long history of vibrant life and service. In recent years, the church has experienced steady growth in attendance and enthusiasm. Families, children, youth, college, single adults, young marrieds, and senior adult, are all a part of a strong, caring, and joyful congregation.

The church provides a broad range of ministries to members and the community at large. Sunday morning offers a wide variety of Bible Study at 9:30 AM, with classes for all ages. The Sunday Morning worship service is a blended service that begins at 10:45 AM and can be found on our Facebook page for those who cannot make it in person. On Sunday evening at 6:00 PM there is a Pastor led Bible Study for those who want to dig deeper into God’s Word. Besides Sunday activities, the church offers Midweek Reset on Wednesday, with a family friendly meal served at 5:15 PM. At 6:00 PM there are break-out sessions, including a time to meet for prayer, a variety of adult Bible studies, KidZ choir, and Youth Bible Study and activities.
